Casio C-Assist App
for Interactive Presentations
Supported document and image types include PDF, JPG, PNG and BMP. According to the company, the handheld document camera functionality can be "helpful for projecting 3D objects in real-life circumstances." The app also lets teachers remotely control a computer on the same network to display content from the computer to the projector.
To use C-Assist, the mobile device must be connected to the same network as the Casio projector. C-Assist scans the network for compatible projectors, so the teacher can select the projector from the C-Assist screen, connect to it and begin projecting content.
Casio projectors supported by C-Assist include:
XJ-A147, XJ-A247 and XJ-A257;
XJ-M146, XJ-M156, XJ-M246 and XJ-M256; and
XJ-UT310WN ultra-short throw projector.
Casio C-Assist is available now through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
